Tucked away at Haley's Terrace, Yearsley Swimming Pool has been part of York's community for over a century. Its 50-yard Edwardian pool is the longest and biggest in the city, making it a popular choice for distance swimmers and serious training, while still welcoming everyday family visits.

The pool runs swimming lessons for all ages and abilities, along with aqua aerobics sessions that draw regulars throughout the week. There's also Aqua Splash, aimed at younger swimmers building confidence in the water, making it a good option for families with children at different stages of learning to swim.
