Rawcliffe Bar Country Park offers acres of open green space for families to explore, with a fantastic mix of play opportunities and natural habitats. Created alongside the neighbouring Park and Ride site, the park has developed into one of York's most popular outdoor destinations.

Adventure-seeking children can tackle the impressive climbing boulder or test their skills on the pump bike track, while younger visitors can enjoy the play area nearby. Beyond the activity spaces, winding paths lead through developing woodland filled with willow, birch, pine, oak and ash trees.

As well as being a fantastic family destination, the country park provides an important haven for wildlife. Hawthorn, blackthorn and dog rose shrubs offer shelter and food for a variety of bird species, helping the site balance recreation with conservation. :contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0}
