Family run since 2002, Minskip Car Boot keeps things simple: one flat price for sellers, no pitch size restrictions, and no need to book ahead. It's a no-fuss Sunday afternoon out for bargain hunters, with browsers welcome from 12.30pm once the selling field has filled up.

On site there are two clean toilet blocks plus a portaloo in the buyers' car park, and a small lineup of local caterers selling hot food, speciality coffees and ice cream throughout the afternoon. The field itself is flat and well-drained, so the sale can often still go ahead even after a spell of rain.
