Fireworks Displays in York 2026

York doesn't have a council fireworks display, but it doesn't need one. The city's big night is run by firefighter volunteers at Rawcliffe Country Park, with a separate early display for children. Every penny goes to The Fire Fighters Charity. Add Sky Magic's spectacular at Rufforth, Poppleton's much-loved bonfire with its own park and ride shuttle, and a ring of village bonfires where you'll bump into half the school run.

Bonfire night is Thursday 5 November, and the biggest displays are on Saturday 7 November. Here's everything, with times, prices and where to book.

Quick picks

  • The big one: the firefighters' charity bonfire at Rawcliffe, Sat 7 Nov.

  • Best for little ones: Rawcliffe's 5.30pm children's display, or Monk Park Farm's low-bang fireworks set to Disney music (Thu 5 Nov).

  • Easiest to get to: Poppleton, Thu 5 Nov, with a free shuttle from Poppleton Bar park and ride.
